Co-op Month
October is National Co-op Month
The Kansas Cooperative Council will once again be participating in Co-op Month. The theme for the 2024 National Cooperative Month in October is "The Future is Cooperative". The Council will be engaging in several activities throughout the month to thank our members and help raise the profile of cooperatives in Kansas. Celebrate National Co-op Month with Us
There’s no better time to celebrate the power of cooperatives and the vital role they play in our communities. This year, we invite everyone—members, employees, and supporters—to join in the celebration by participating in our events, sharing your co-op stories, and highlighting how cooperatives contribute to a better way of doing business.
Why Celebrate Co-ops?
Cooperatives are built on shared values and the principles of community, self-help, and mutual benefit. Whether it’s in agriculture, utilities, credit unions, or retail, co-ops are owned by their members, for the benefit of their members. National Co-op Month is an opportunity to showcase the positive impact cooperatives have on our economy and the lives of millions.
